Planting Seeds is Fun

Planting seeds with the expectations of a plant is so much fun. For example, the peanut seed that becomes a beautiful plant. My peanut plants are opening their leaves during the day and closing them at night too. In addition, the Eucalyptus seedling has a cool looking red stem. In conclusion, looking each day to see what sprouted overnight is exciting and rewarding. Happy planting!

A Windy February Day

Today was a fairly warm February day of 50 F. There was a lot of wind though today so I thought I it would be a good day to sit out my pea seedlings. I am planning on planting them out soon but the next couple of days are suppose to be pretty cold. I ended up planting some spearmint, and peppermint. Wow are the peppermint seeds little! Also, I planted some munstead lavender and lady lavender. Maybe I will plant more tonight.
